Hall, Richies Florist reflects the
heritage of the building and
Colusa County from its establishment in the
1940’s. Elaine Lausten purchased the business from its
original owners in 1971. Since then, Richies Florist has
been a family-owned business with its current owner, and
daughter of Eleanor, Gretchen Howe who obtained the
business in 1983.
Richies Florists stocks an array of fresh flowers from several
quality vendors and has a wide assortment of vases, pottery, and
baskets. Its 2500 sq. ft. building allows Gretchen to stock and
carry an extensive gift line, assorted gourmet candies, Yankee®
and Woodwick® candles, Balloons, and a wide assortment of
plants, flags, and garden items.
From a simple arrangement to coordinating a wedding, Richies
Florist can provide its customers with a high degree of
professionalism while maintaining the courtesy and kindness of a
family business. The knowledge, experience, and creativity of
the Richies Florist Staff allows them to provide you with
stunning arrangements to décor your home, office, event, or to
